Series License Exams
Hey everyone,
Recently received an IB analyst offer through lateral recruiting, which I'm excited about. The bank mentioned that I would need to pass 3 series license exams (7,63,79) within the first 90 days of the new job, which I have not yet taken as my current job isn't in IB.
How worried should I be regarding the difficulty of the 3 Series exams? Are they things that most people pass with ease or are the exams relatively difficult and require significant amount of studying / prep?
Also, what are some of the best resources to study for the 3 series exams (would like to get a headstart on these if possible)?
Thanks!
Sign up for Knopman’s test prep and knock these out soon as possible. Once you start it will be become challenging to find time to study while managing a full work load. The material is not all that difficult if you have a finance background but everybody is different in terms of their test taking abilities. There certainly is a decent amount of material and concepts to get under your belt so better to get started sooner rather than later. Best of luck man and congrats on the new gig
Thanks so much for your reply! Very insightful. Regarding study resources for the various SERIES exams, did the bank you work at provided those study resources to you or did you buy it yourself?
