Should I change job now?

I'm currently in a F50 Aerospace Engineering Rotational Program, but few months in my rotation I realized I'm more interested in finance/ business development than engineering. It's been about 9 months since I've graduated/ been in my current company. I'm planning on starting my MBA in 2018. But I also have a buddy at a mid-tier wealth management firm who offered to pass my resume on to the HR manager for their Business Associate Program. That program will start in July of next year. Should I make this jump from engineering to Asset Management or it'd be better to suck it up at my rotation for the next 3 years and finally make the switch to finance/ business development with an MBA?

don't know if wealth management means you're an advisor, but it probably pays less than a quant. nobody can decide for you, you got to weight the pro cons and stand up to your decision.

Its really up to you, do you want to work in engineering for a longer time or move to Wealth Mangement? Is PWM something you are interested in, or are you just asking because your friend got you the interview? Nobody can really tell you what you want to do with your life, these are completely different directions. The possibility of an MBA should not affect your immediate decision making whatsoever.

I don't see myself doing engineering long term as I'm planning on switching to consulting/ business development post-mba. But I was just wondering if switching industry completely will raise concerns amongst adcoms when I apply to b-schools?

no. plenty of MBAs do that. You just need a more powerful MBA to make it.
