Should I choose RSM over UK universities?
Right now I’m studying economics at a small, no-name university in France. I’m from a small city, and I’ve realised that the opportunities I’m looking for just aren’t here. So after I finish this first year, I’m planning to start over and apply to a stronger Bachelor’s program. My long-term goal is to work in the UK and ideally the US, but I know that’s extremely difficult. Based on my grades and the profiles I’ve seen, I think I have a good chance of getting into Rotterdam School of Management. I’m also considering semi-target universities in the UK, but the costs are much higher, while Rotterdam would only cost me around €2k per year. From what I’ve seen, RSM graduates place very well into top Master’s programs like HEC and LBS, which is exactly what I’m aiming for. My idea is: RSM Bachelor’s → top Master’s (HEC/LBS/etc.) → job in the UK (and maybe one day the US).
For people who know the landscape, Does this seem like a realistic and smart plan?Is choosing Rotterdam over expensive UK universities a good move if my end goal is a top Master’s and a career in London?

For sure, go to Rotterdam and then aim for HEC or LBS. You will need a GPA of 8+ which is like top 15% (not easy but doable if you work hard from day 1). Good luck
