Should I do an MBA?

Hello monkeys,

I wanted to get some external perspective on my unique situation. I'm currently at a small VC/Growth shop as an Associate, coming from an IB background. I have an early admission to Kellogg for their MBA program which I can continue to defer until 2025. I applied opportunistically during COVID to expand optionality but at this point in my career, I don't think I desire or need an MBA from a HSW school enough to go through the efforts of reapplying through the normal application process - especially since I have 0 desire to work at a mega fund.

While I think it would be a great experience to take a 1-2 year break from work to go, I don't desire a career change nor geographic change which are the primary motivators for most folks going into an MBA program. Are the cost/benefit trade-offs in my situation worth it? Would you go if you were me?
