Should I get a job or continue as an entrepreneur before applying to an MBA later this year?

So after 3 years in IB I decided it is time to apply to an MBA. Because of the terrible hours and working culture I faced no other choice than to quit my job, in order to have time to prepare for GMAT and all the admissions paperwork. I have also started my own business, which at this point is obviously still small and as I can't know the future, I don't now how it's going to be in December when I apply for business schools. So I'm a little bit worried about how will recruiters look at my application, do you guys think I should have a job to apply or will they like the fact Im using the time I have until MBA classes start next year to start a business by my own and see how it goes?
