Should I start to studying for CFA senior year of undergrad?
Should I study for cfa senior year? If so, could I do it while as a full-time student. What goes into it and what are benefits of level 1 etc? Or would I be better off studying GMAT in the case that I end up appyling to B school?
are you planning to enter IB or ER/AM? if the former, rather you study for the GMAT as a 730~+ is way more impressive (especially if you're recruiting for PE) than passing CFA L1, in addition to the L1 material being irrelevant in helping you in IB
doing AM at BB this summer. Would like to stay at BB for awhile, although this seems uncommon on WSO?
I know turnover is high for IB at BBs. I cannot speak to AM at a BB, but I did have a Friend that placed in ER at CS and left after 2 years due to being burned out on the work (AKA ER wasn't for him, probably could have stuck it out in a different group).
depends on the role, turnover for e.g IB/Consulting is way higher than say PWM/CorpBanking. many who enter the former fields also went in knowing they want to exit after a few years so
if you see yourself doing AM full time then taking the CFA L1 with the aim of completing all 3 exams is probably the way to go
