Should I transfer?

Hi,

A little bit of context first. I´m currently studying Business Administration (in the 2nd Semester) at a local college, however, even though I have been getting good grades so far, the degree is not really technical in the way it is taught (Maybe because its a Bachelor of Arts) and not how I would want it to be. The mere reason why I´m at this college is because I was a very naive and bad High School student with low grades. Furthermore, I didn´t start with College immediately (which is somewhat normal in my country) due to having to help the Fam out. So now I´m a 21 year old who is about to be a sophomore, if i stay at the local college. However, I would potentially have a good shot at being accepted at a (Semi) Target in my country that is known for it´s emphasis on Finance and is actively recruited by (BB) Banks, Consulting Firms etc. But, I would have to start as a Freshman again due to them having no free places. I´d essentially "only" loose 6 months instead of 1 Year, because my current college degree would take 7 semesters, whereas the other degree would only take 6 semesters.

I want to do it. What do you think?

Thanks

If you wanna do it then do it. I transferred, it was a tough adjustment, and I’m still not sure if it was the right call. The experience will be what you make of it. I wouldn’t worry about losing time since you’re young, but just know transferring can be difficult (this a sentiment shared by most of the transfers I know at my school)
