SIBC and Investment Club at ND

I have seen a lot of people online say they are analysts on the ND investment club, yet most of them don't appear on the page as a part of the 'analyst program' the club has. What does it take to warrant claiming analyst status? Do you just need to make one stock pitch?

Also was wondering how competitive it is to get staffed on a travel team for an SIBC finance project. I am an incoming freshman who can already build a DCF and Comps. Was wondering how many of different projects to apply to and how to increase the odds of making a travel team.

AIM is typically done senior year though btw (if not studying abroad junior spring can do it then though). Definitely something for OP to try to do but that’s way down the line

The analyst program is for ~18 selected sophomores. There is an application at the end of Freshman year following the end of year Freshman pitches (open to everyone). The NDIC website shows who is in the program. Some people on LinkedIn used to put analyst sometimes after doing a pitch before there was an analyst program and some of that has carried over, although it’s less common now.
