Do you want to stay in Texas or go to nyc? If nyc, pick BC, if Texas pick SMU. If you want any other city aside from those two, would lean BC, has a better brand (no bias at all)
I am currently at BC and tbh I think the school is very underrated. Every bulge bracket not named MS or JPM recruits from campus, and there are always a solid few who go to EBs. Lots of middle market banks recruit heavily here. However, I am guessing you got a scholarship from SMU. If money is an issue, would consider it, if money is not an issue, BC seems like an obvious choice unless you really want to work in energy banking in Houston.
