Specialized Programs in Graduate Business - MSF/MAcc/MMS Events
The Specialized Programs in Graduate Business are back on the road with a bunch of great upcoming events. I will most likely make it to some, if not all of the East Coast events. This is a great way for anyone interesting in a specialized masters to meet with admissions officers at all the main programs. Good food and drink is also usually offered.
I will let everyone know my schedule also in case people would like to discuss programs or meet me in person.

Hope to see some of you there!
Bump. Anyone in the Dallas area interested in a master in finance program should make sure to attend the event.
I signed up for the nov 7th event a few weeks ago. Should be fun as I'm planning to visit nova two days before on the 5th.
Oh nice. I will see you in NYC then. Let me know if you have any questions before or after your visit.
nothing on the west coast? i see that usf, usc, and claremont are members...
Possibly in the future. This consortium is relatively new. With the addition of UT Austin they started going to Texas. I am always pushing for more schools to join. I'd really love to see another West Coast school roll out an MSF program. UCLA would be phenomenal. USC also (the come for their MAcc program, although they have a hybrid MMS also).
Give Claremont some competition.
i think there is room for a solid post experience program in greater la. claremont is excellent but 1 year full time experience is evidently too much
Yeah, I agree. I routinely lobby schools to start programs. The more we have the greater the MSF awareness. If you look at the past two GMAC reports you just see continued growth in the specialized masters segment. Makes sense on so many levels.
UCLA has a solid MFE program so they might be reluctant, but USC would be a strong fit. I could see Pepperdine enhancing and focusing on their existing program.
