I'm looking to round out the personal impact piece of my applications. Which societies/volunteer groups in New York are most respected by MBA admissions board that I should join?
Ideally would like to be involved in one professional development (e.g., CFA Society, NY Tech Alliance etc) and one charity-focused (Robin Hood Foundation, Big Brother, etc).
Any guidance on ones that stand out if you have personal experience in or heard goods things about, would be super helpful?
