Target Schools in the South

Are there different target schools for IB in the south (ATL, HOU, CLT, Tampa, etc.) than in NYC/SF. If so, what are they? I'd assume schools like Emory, Duke, and UNC hold more weight in the south than they do in the rest of the US.

I would just expand that to not just Houston. DFW too if you want to stay in Texas. Tons of hedge funds and banking there (Kyle Bass anyone?). Not sure about other spots like south Florida but that seems to be blowing up, All schools you listed are definitely good choices though.

Listing Kyle Bass like we’re supposed to be impressed should pretty much tell OP everything they need to know about the “finance scene” in Dallas
