Top 20 European Business school or study in Shanghai

Hi everybody,

I am an European which got accepted at two different business schools for a Master in Finance. The first one is Kozminski University (Poland) and the second is the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) (China). It is also worth saying that i got a full scholarship for the M.A. in China.

Kozminski University is, according to the financial times ranking, the 18th best master in Finance in the world while SUFE is not reknown. Also, the courses at Kozminski seems, on paper, more accurate/interesting for a M.A. in Finance. While the one in SUFE seems a bit more general.

Therefore, knowing that I'd like to work in an international scale (either the US, Canada or London) in M&A or corporate finance, would you advise me to take the best M.A. which is in Europe or to leave for Shanghai due to the fact that anyway, the adventure and experience I may acquire by going to China will surpass any academic knowledge?

http://www.kozminski.edu.pl/mif > the program at Kozminski University http://ices.shufe.edu.cn/ENDetail.aspx?ID=1006&Ty… > Program at sufe.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd rather avoid Kóźmiński University. If I were you, I would retake GMAT exam and get a better result, Kóźmiński doesn't have a good reputation in Poland, let alone Europe/world. I don't know anything about SUFE but in terms of placement it shouldn't be worse than Kóźmiński. ;)
