imho, unless youre at a GPA-ridden school like Columbia/HBS, the GPA is merely used as a 'gatekeeper' since usually low GPAs keep you from getting top jobs. if you can land a solid role from a 'no name school' that will matter much more, and if you have a solid story behind you even better. helps that neither of my parents graduated high school so me going from non-HS graduate family to working as a trader shines for acdoms. work experience matters a lot, its not like im doing equities in dallas... or back office equities in dallas, even worse.

and this is what ive taken and read from admissions consultants sites and evaluations (which i can dig up) and edumacate you on.
