UChicago or Williams?

I'm in a scenario where I have transfer offers from both schools (athletics). For people with experience, which school will provide better placement for finance and, specifically, private equity? Does one carry a better name than the other? Thanks for the help.

Without considering actual sports teams or costs at the respective universities, UChicago takes the cake easily. Well known school that carries a reputation to compete with Stanford and Ivies in terms of academics. Williams is good but not nearly as good at UChicago. From personal experience, did an SA stint at a PE firm whose founders were both UChicago undergrad and both had Stanford MBAs. Also depends where you’re transferring from.

UChicago carries the better name and is respected more but IMO it isnt worth the depressing nature of the school. The heavy focus on academia combined with the weather makes it a pretty depressing environment and it definately isnt for everyone (Friends who attend have told me, cannot confirm). If you are going for athletics im sure you are social and would probably enjoy Williams more. In terms of prestige, UChicago edges but Williams will open similar doors.
