UCL or US LAC?

I'm a freshman at a small LAC in the east. I like the school--I'm on a (D3) sports team--but I want something more. It's a semi-target at best (we do have several students who go to Wall Street each year and our alumni network is strong). I'm not writing the name of my school so that it doesn't appear in search results, but it's in Virginia and the best LAC in the South. I don't want someone to link this back to me, so try to avoid mentioning the name in the comments. Also worth noting I'm not in a frat.

I decided this January to apply to other schools. Some in the US as a transfer and some in UK. Today I'm asking about University College London, as I was accepted for Bsc Management Science.

I love the idea of going to London and being in Europe, and UCL is known better in the US than my American school. I've heard that UCL is a true target for IB and other high level business careers in the UK. But here's the thing: I don't want to be in the UK forever. At some point I'll want to return home, at least I currently think I will.

I have a little bit of a plan and I would like you all to check its feasibility: I go to UCL, study, get IB or something, stick with it for 2-3 years, and return to the US as an MBA student. Is this realistic? Does it make sense?

Do you think it's worth pursuing?
