UK/EU MFin/MiM in 2023
Hey, this is my first post on WSO after like months of lurking and reading. I had some questions regarding the current economic scenario and UK/EU pre-experience programs for 2023.
As for my background, I come from a top 10 engineering school in India with a 7.61(translates to a First Class by Oxford's metrics since my Uni counts as an "Institute of National Importance"). My GMAT is 770 and I am currently working in the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking team at a Big 4. I am looking to go though whole IB->PE route post the program.
I have seen a bunch of my batchmates who stuck to the Engineering track opting out of pursuing their masters next year in the US due to the recession and tech layoff horror stories. Was wondering if it's still worth it to go to the UK over the US for easier work authorisation even though the UK is clearly struggling a whole lot more than the US.
