Duke is more prestigious sure, but the gap in IB recruiting is much smaller. I believe Duke get's recruiting from some EB's (which UNC doesn't), but BB recruiting is similar if not better at UNC. If you were smart enough to get into Duke, then you should get into one of GS/MS/JPM/BAML/Barclays from UNC.
Agree with this. Getting into a BB will be easier from UNC, but getting into a MF PE down the road will be easier with Duke on resume vs UNC.
Just off of the title, I was inclined to go with Duke, but there's no way in hell you should pay 320k for school. Those loans are just too much, especially given that UNC is still a fantastic school.
Without debt, I'd say Duke. But with debt, KF all day long.
