Undergrad exchange semester Harvard vs Wharton?

I am a student from a top 10 European business school and I have been fortunate enough to receive an offer from the UPenn/Wharton exchange program. I have also applied to Harvard's program and am currently awaiting their decision. If accepted to both programs, I am faced with a difficult decision as both universities are exceptional.

While Wharton is widely recognized as the top business school in the world among insiders, it may not have the same level of recognition among Europeans as Harvard does. Nonetheless, Wharton's reputation for excellence is undeniable. Despite this, I am torn between the opportunity to take actual Wharton classes at UPenn and being limited to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard.

I would greatly appreciate any opinions or advice on this matter.

No one will be more impressed with one than the other, not because one is not more impressive than the other (Harvard is 1000x the prestige of Wharton), but because it is not that impressive to get into a study abroad program.

I am aware that it is not as difficult to do an exchange semester there as to do the whole study there.

But my question was also rather which university would be more recommendable to a business undergrad as I am not sure which uni to pick.

Ultimately for study abroad you should just pick the one you are more interested in. These are both exceptional schools and you will be fine either way in terms of academics.

Doesn't matter bro. Nobody really cares where you did study abroad. Go where you'll have the most fun. Your only credential that matters is your home university.

I don't really know much about this. But the OP says he will take classes with real Wharton business school students, versus taking some other kind of program at Harvard. I think it is pretty clear that a summer abroad program brand will not do much for the resume. But meeting one person could make all the difference at some point in the future.
