Undergrad. Please Rank As Targets
For undergrad trying to make a decision. Please rank these institutions on Wall St credibility or best options to land on the Street after undergrad. Fordham, Seton Hall, Providence, Loyola MD, Fairfield, Hofstra, Scranton
I would say Fordham is your best shot as you'll be in the city and able to do internships during the school year but none of those options are really that great so I would aim to transfer after freshman year if you're really looking to break into a FO role.
Bobby Axelrod went to Hofstra so you could parlay that commonality into an internship at Axe Capital. Word on the Street is it's getting rocky over there though, so plan accordingly.
Ouch, whichever is cheapest and least fun so you can transfer if you really want to be recruited.
I personally know a couple of people who went from Fordham to a bulge bracket IB to a PE megafund. That said, front office recruiting will be a challenge, and you'll need to be super motivated to recruit and at the top of your class. I just want to point out that it's not impossible like some of these posts seem to imply.
