Columbia, UChicago, Northeastern, UPenn, Northwestern, Barnard, Cornell, Claremont McKenna, Tufts, Babson, Lehigh, Bryn Mawr, Brandeis, George Washington, UT Dallas, Emory, SMU, DePaul, Fordham, U of Rochester, UMiami, Lafayette, Santa Clara, Drexel. This is a list prioritizing financial aid in addition to pipeline and spreading risks. What should I cut?

You prefer colder climates but you're applying to schools in Texas and Florida? I went to college at one of the schools I listed. It's SO much colder than Florida. UVA, Vandy, Atlanta, Duke, and UNC will be moderate temp most of the year. It snows in Atlanta sometimes, so it will get colder.

You also have a lot of schools where I've seen maybe 1-2 people in the street with. Carleton likely won't place, it's way more of an academic school, and your grades will be worse coming out of it. I've never seen someone from Macalester, had to Google that one, and I've worked in both NYC and Chicago. Same with USF.

Your list is so all over the place. You have tiny schools and massive schools, both of which have massive culture differences. You have too few targets, but also WAY too many schools. I can't imagine you'd be close to a culture fit at most of these schools, which would mean you would be a quick rejection at most.

Second this. I’d narrow it goes to all T-25 schools you can get into. Emory punches above their weight class. Vandy and SMU do to if you are in certain programs. You then have USF in same convo as Duke, which is just weird. Do some more research and hone in your list.

Is this list slightly better: Columbia, UChicago, Northeastern, UPenn, Northwestern, Barnard, Cornell, Claremont McKenna, Tufts, Babson, Lehigh, Bryn Mawr, Brandeis, George Washington, UT Dallas, Emory, SMU, DePaul, Fordham, UMiami, Lafayette, Santa Clara, Drexel. I have to cut 3
