Univesity of Luxembourg - Master in Finance

Hi guys,

I'm 34 now and I'm finishing my undergraduate in Economics at the University of Lisbon (Lisbon School of Economics and Management). It is now a Triple Crown university which brings a bit more of credibility i guess.

I didn't finish it because I started to work in banking operations and I kept going. In the middle i did a "career shift to an online financial broker where I started working as Sales & Account Manager and now more around Digital Marketing being an SEO implementor.

After these years I really wanted to finish my undergraduate and pursue a master's degree in Finance, also have the CFA.

Next year I'm going to live in Luxembourg and I'm planning to apply to University of Luxembourg Master's in Finance.

I would like to ask some opinions here. Does anyone know about how difficult is to enter at this Master? Having 34 years old but somehow a bit of professional experience will help me? Is it too late to become a financial analyst? Any tips to have a good job in Luxembourg since a lot of financial companies are moving there and it is becaming a great financial hub? What can I do to become a strong candidate to Masters in Finance and also to get a job as Financial Analyst / Investment Banking / Wealth Management after?

Wishing you well,

All the best

Ricardo
