Upwards trend for GPA and GMAT for MiM admissions

Hello guys,
I plan to apply to French MiMs in following sessions (round 3).
I am currently at a Target bachelor in Germany, with a double-degree in a French Target.

However my GPA is shit (converted to around 2.9- 3.0 in anglo-saxon system) because of the first year where I screwed up due to multiple personal factors. 2nd and 3rd year GPAs are much better (and in the acceptable region) with steady improvement each year.
I passed the Tage Mage (which is the French GMAT) where I scored an equivalent to 680-690 in Focus Edition GMAT (Top 7%) which is great.

Concerning practical experience, I have a few relevant internships but nothing incredible.

How are my chances for ESSEC/ESCP ?
Does the GPA improvement matter at all or do the schools only look at the overall average ?
