US Schools for Europe Jobs?

Yeah so my question is just the reputation of US schools in Europe. I'm guessing that the popular Ivy's such as Harvard and Yale are a given in the sense that recruiters are gonna welcome you with open arms, but what about even some of the lesser known target schools of Europe. Like is a recruiter for HSBC in London really gonna know of SMU? Or does it have the same reputation there as it does in in the US? And what about some of the even less-target universities, such as UMiami? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also apologies if this is poorly written, my brain is currently mush from being sick with COVID the last couple days. Thanks.
