UT Austin McCombs (full ride) VS NYU Stern VS UMICH Ross for investment banking

Hello, I'm currently a high school senior and have been accepted to NYU Stern, UT McCombs, and UMICH Ross, I plan to major in finance and my objective is to break into investment banking or if possible PE.
All three options are well placed on the US News undergraduate business schools rank and place consistently on IB, I know NYU is a clear winner in terms of IB placement.
In terms of costs, NYU is difficult for my family and for me in the short term to get into around 40k per year of student loans (after scholarships and fin aid),
UMICH Ross (around 30k/year, I'm out of state), while UT McCombs offers me a full ride without any college debt.
I'm currently shifting to UT due to the full ride in costs, however, I want to know if 160k more in debt will equate to the prestige of Stern and 120k more would equate to the prestige of Ross in order to make a well-advised decision.

Obviously biased as a McCombs guy but for the money, go to UT.

ONLY if you're confident that you can be in the top 10% of everything you do here. In that case, I'd guarantee you can get a spot at a bank where McCombs sends students. However, if you can't be top 10% and get into the programs that facilitate IB recruiting, you'll have a much more difficult time. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk McCombs.

id prob cross out NYU, not as fun as umich and ut. i guess it comes down to will you be able to pay those loans back if you dont break into IB, if your family in a good position to help you etc etc. id probably go to UMich, 30k a year seems like a drop in the bucket for future earnings but if loans seem scary than just take UT, great school and you will do fine if you can excel

Umich is an incredibly underrated school for ib recruiting. I have met many alumni across various investment banks and this year during oncycle interviews at MFs. A quick LinkedIn search shows people at some of the best Pe firms. With some joining straight out of college. I think Umich is an easy choice here. UTA does not have the same pipeline to nyc.

UT Austin. Hands down. I did college in NYC and regret it, I mean I got the job I wanted but 0 college fun. NYC will always be here and by going to UT Austin there is on-campus recruiting so you can easily get those BB internships while also enjoying your life in the Texan weather.
