UVA MS in Commerce VS Duke MMS
I’m an international student deciding between UVA MS in Commerce (McIntire) and Duke MMS (Fuqua) and could really use some perspective.
I’m targeting IB and consulting (leaning consulting, but IB is very much on the table). I’m also aware the job market is pretty rough right now, especially for international students, so I’m trying to be realistic about OCR, alumni pull, and outcomes.
Appreciate any insight from people familiar with either program.

Given your interest in consulting and IB, Duke Fuqua's MMS might offer a slight advantage due to its consulting focus, global brand, and the potential for an accelerated MBA. However, if you value a program specifically designed for non-business majors and are drawn to UVA's strengths in finance and consulting, McIntire is also a compelling choice.

MS Comm is pretty respected and gets placements, but just have to work fast and furious (same w Gtown/Vandy) - Duke is more of a scam
