Some more context:

• ~6ish years ago, placements from WashU were terrible. I remember entering as a freshmen and having immediate doubts as I saw virtually nobody from the school going to IB internships, with everyone going MBB
• Changed 4 years ago with first breakout classes going to Gugg (now on-campus), and then with people hustling hard to get to JPM, GS in particular
• Since then, there's been a pretty good acceleration of recruiting -- anecdotally, I've started to see way more washU kids reaching out for buyside recruiting from places mentioned above. I know folks from my network who went to: Moelis (several), LAZ (several), CVP, Gugg (a ton), GS (several), JPM (several), PWP (several), JEF, bunch of other notable BBs / MMs. Looks like recent grads are doing even better in terms of numbers and breadth
• They heavily started emphasizing their IB club, which for better or worse offers a pretty streamlined pipeline, with recent alums being overall very helpful in recruiting / connection / networking

The small UG business class size is also helpful IMO, since half of them wanna do MBB (so less competition). It's also easy as shit so easy to get a high GPA (less applicable for on-campus recruiting tho).

Not sure if this is helpful, but at the very least on par with ND and Emory, who have probably had better success historically but similar now.
