What are my chances at Booth, Wharton, Columbia, Stern and Kellogg?

My stats
UGrad GPA: 2.8, English (yeah I know) from Top 10 school
GMAT: 760
Work Exp:
Started out BO at major RE brokerage house. After a year, leveraged that into FO REIB at same firm for two years. Leveraged that into acquisitions role at MM REPE firm for two years. Had increasing responsibilities at each level, managed projects and had leadership roles in every position.

ECs:
-Founded a tutoring/mentoring program for kids with disabilities and from underprivileged backgrounds. I have a learning disability and think it affected my college performance so I wanted to help others with similar abilities and teach them how to avoid similar mistakes to me. Spend 15-20 hours per month on that. 20-30 volunteers participate yearly for 4 years.
-On several RE young leadership committees

It's worth noting I got an F in finance in undergrad because I never went to class and the final was a major part of my grade and I bombed it. However, I have passed CFA level I and II and taken 8 high level math/finance/Econ courses at a reputable local school and gotten straight As since graduating.

Also I'm Hispanic.

Assuming I have excellent letters of recommendation and essays, how would you rate my chances of getting into Booth, Columbia, Wharton, Kellogg (legacy) and Stern?

I'm not an admissions consultant, but here is my opinion:

  • Your 2.8 GPA may be a little low for Wharton (despite your GMAT), but it should be negligible at other schools.
  • Career progression looks good (assuming JLL->MMPE?).
  • Leadership rounds out your package.
  • URM is a huge bump.

It looks like you stand a solid chance assuming you interview well and spend the requisite time on applications. What are your goals? This is a huge part of ensuring your story makes sense.

I'm not as optimistic as others. Stern is probably a definite with a good app. But I've seen people with your story and better stats rejected from all the rest. Wharton is probably definitely out. Booth/CBS/Kellogg are all possible but not probable, IMO. I would also throw in a few slightly easier to get into programs to cover your bases.
