What are my chances for Harvard/Stanford?

Currently seeking an MBA from the likes of Harvard University or Stanford University. I’m also applying to Wharton and Booth.

For context:

Demographics: Mid-20s (25-27 years old), Non-URM Male, US Citizen.

I went to Princeton UG (3.8 GPA).

Was the president of 2 clubs (both related to finance) in my time at Princeton.

Worked in PE for 4 years so far for KKR/Apollo/BX.

GMAT Score of 770.

Currently working on my essays but I’d consider myself to be a good writer.

You have a decent shot but no guarantees. I had a similar profile and got in this cycle (though 2 years MFPE + 2 years BB). KKR PE did pretty poorly this year for business school (less than half got into H/S). Assume you're not APO as they don't have an analyst program. Key question is what makes you different from the other top notch finance candidates in your story.

You should get into HBS, but just a maybe for Stanford.

If this is the profile I’m up against, I’m cooked…

Yeah it is a good profile, but most top schools accept a wide variety of people, so don't discount yourself just yet.
