What is preferred for IB London?
UK UG in a Target (LSE/Oxbridge) or a UK PG in a semi-target (Warwick, Nottingham, Edinburgh) with no relevant past.

Career Resources
Most likely the former in my view.
Target UG. UK banks care about brand name and the earlier you get a target on your CV, the better. Hell, a UG at a target can land you a job out of UG without going through the time and financial effort of pursuing a MiM or MFin.
It's what I thought so.
Now if you had the opportunity to choose from one whilst being a mature EU applicant, what would you go for?
(UG Fees have skyrocketed (£20k+/year) as mentioned into another topic on here)
Thanks anyways!
UG fees will be high at all the universities mentioned so go for Oxbridge/LSE. If you had the choice of other EU business schools I would go to Bocconi or HEC. Both will help you land an IB role in London.
UG target for sure. PG is far less competitive and less prestigious=
if you're diversity, doesn't matter where you go
if you're a white guy who went to private school, go to ox/cam
At the PG most of the semis you mentioned are not really recruited from. At the PG level firms pretty luch only recruit from LBS/LSE/Oxbridge>Imperial(>Warwick) putting Warwick into brackets here as it is rarely recruited from at the masters level (often people already have solid experience for Warwick). But I understand the cost benefit of not doing 3 years etc etc... up to you, just need to be realistic about where you will be able to land
What about UCL PG for recruitment? I'm in my final year at a target and have a summer internship lined up, but if I don't get a return offer I will have to apply to internships/FT again and I might be at UCL for finance or economics MSc.
