What is the best way to spin this experience?

bit of a background.

Im Director of biz dev and partner in a multi channel online retailer. We recently sold off one of our online stores (which i had a large part in creating) to a boutique private equity firm in the mid west. I led all the negotiations on my company's behalf with the firm and created a simple valuation model based on which we presented our counteroffer.

The sale price was nothing to be proud of (low 5 figures) so Im not sure it's a good idea to put the amount in there. I'm proud of this achievement nonetheless as it's my first time dealing directly with a PE firm as an entrepreneur, and i'd love to work at a small vc/pe after B-school.

Thanks a lot!

Maybe this will help:

A. You led the sale of said division from entrepeneur to insititutional investor B. You came up with the model justifying the price C. Write in the sale as a function of percentage growth since unit aquisition / creation

A+B+C = good story

Example: "Spearheaded and executed sale of AAA business division to XXX firm after identifying multiple synergies, realizing a profit of YYY% of a ZZZ year initial start up cost.

Hope this helps
