Which undergrad non target should I go to for PWM

With interest in PWM I’m curious where you guys would recommend I go. My top choice is URichmond but deciding between Baruch, Fordham, Umass Amherst. I applied to finance for all schools. I’m looking to work here in nyc (where I’m from) down the line.
thanks

Based on the WSO Dataset, when considering a career in Private Wealth Management (PWM) and aiming to work in NYC, both Baruch and Fordham stand out as strong options among your listed choices. Here's a breakdown of why these institutions might be particularly beneficial for your career path:

  1. Fordham University: Fordham's proximity to NYC offers a significant advantage for networking and internship opportunities in PWM. The university has a solid reputation in finance and its location allows for easy access to Wall Street and numerous financial institutions. This can be crucial for building connections and gaining practical experience while still in school.

  2. Baruch College: Known for its strong finance program, Baruch College is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system and offers excellent value for money. Its Zicklin School of Business is highly regarded and provides robust coursework in finance. Similar to Fordham, Baruch's location in NYC facilitates networking with professionals and securing internships in PWM. The college has a strong alumni network in the finance industry, which can be beneficial for job placements post-graduation.

While UMass Amherst and the University of Richmond are respectable institutions, their geographical locations might not offer the same level of direct access to the NYC financial sector as Fordham and Baruch do. Given your interest in working in NYC and the field of PWM, prioritizing schools that are located within the city could provide you with a strategic advantage in terms of networking and internship opportunities.

Ultimately, the best choice depends on your personal preferences, financial considerations, and the specific programs and opportunities each school offers. However, for someone with a clear focus on PWM in NYC, Fordham and Baruch emerge as particularly compelling options based on their location, finance programs, and networking opportunities.

I go to a Non target near NYC (think Pace/Manhattan/Iona) and have a UBS PWM internship. All of your schools easily have the edge over the school I go to, so whichever you think is the best fit.
