WHU exchange or stay put?

Hello! I am an international student studying at a French Target/EU Semi-Target with the option to go to WHU for the 1st semester of my 3rd year.

We have a mandatory internship period every year and so all together I'll be graduating with ~1.5 YOE through these internships (CF & Consulting so far). What I'm wondering is, should I take the opportunity to go to WHU for the semester or stay put and attend classes at my uni? Eitherway, I will have to do an internship in my 2nd semester.

I aim to work in IB/Consulting/Trading in London or Paris primarily but open to anywhere really. So, what do you guys think? Would the exchange actually prove useful for my trajectory, or would it just be an excuse to travel (I'm not really interested in treating the 4 months as a break and regardless, Vallendar isn't exactly top 5 holiday destinations).
