Will this be considered lying on my application?

I am applying for graduate programs (types and titles are not relevant). I am a double major at my university. I only picked up the second one since I got breezed by the first major with perfect 4.0. However, my second major I did not do so well in (3.1). On applications, if they ask for my major GPA, which one am I inclined to pick? There is no option to put in both GPAs, and there is no specific major to the type of program I am applying for (like if I applied for an MSF, it wouldn't matter since none of my majors are finance.)

I appreciate it guys!

You can put the 4.0 on the fill-in part of the application, but you may as well disclose the lower major in the optional section of the app -- and just saying you were interested and wanted to challenge yourself to become more well-rounded. If you highlight your interest in something else, that's a positive.

It really depends on what the two majors are.

A 3.0 GPA in business/finance is very different than a 3.0 in Physics. If your 4.0 is in something not related to the MSF at all and the 3.0 is, then I would say that is lying.

Depends on your situation. You didn't say what majors they were.

My majors are in Marketing and Management and the program I was aiming for was MSF. But, the applications are only letting me plug in one gpa. Should I post at the end for any other comments? I don't want to seem like I am lying, but I don't want to ruin my application chances.
