Worth changing course?
Hello everyone!
I do not know if this is the correct place for this question but I really need some help. I am doing BSc Accounting and Finance at a Russel Group but I have been thinking of switching to a more math-heavy course like BSc Economics and Maths, or BSc Financial Statistics. However, doing this would mean adding an extra year to my degree (and more $$$$). I am quite certain I want to work in IBD/PE due to the nature of the job (I like client-facing roles/financial modelling). However, I do not know if it is worth spending extra $$$ and spending another year switching my course.
Thanks in advance!

why do you want to switch to a more math-heavy course?
Honestly, I always loved math more but got pushed into A&F because people told me it is a more 'practical' degree. Now about a term in I see my friends in maths doing modules that are far more interesting.
It's not going to make a difference for recruiting. accounting and finance will be more helpful for interviews.
