Finally broke in

Good evening WSO,

I am not the first one but I won’t be the last one to make their post about this, but holy fuck it feels good to finally get that first IB offer. Coming from no IB presence school to finally getting that offer feels so amazing man.

To all my other non targets, you got this, it’s not impossible, it might not be bulge bracket or elite boutique, but it’s possible.

  • Persistence Pays Off: Breaking into investment banking (IB) from a non-target school is challenging but achievable. Your success story is a testament to the power of persistence and determination.
  • Encouragement for Non-Targets: For those at non-target schools, it's crucial to remember that while it may not be a bulge bracket or elite boutique, landing an IB offer is possible. Keep pushing forward.
  • Emotional Reward: The feeling of finally receiving that first IB offer is incredibly rewarding, especially when coming from a school with no IB presence.

Keep your head up, stay motivated, and continue to grind. Your journey can inspire others in similar situations.
