Negative Talk

Met with a recruiter last week who told me that I have no chance of transitioning to an investing role and that I was naive and that I should think about becoming a recruiter instead. I am convinced that this mentality is why some of these people become recruiters in the first place, because life is just too difficult for them and they have no ambition. I feel bad for these folks.

For all of you that have had these types of conversations with negative people, use them as motivation to succeed rather than taking their advice to heart. If there is a will, there is a way.
