I just got an offer from my summer bank's high yield sales team (though I was in banking for the summer), but I was told that I had to do a 6 month stint in research to get me ready before moving to sales. Is this pretty standard? What should I expect in terms of hours for those six months? What kind of bonus would I be looking at?
