I am currently a sophomore in college and want to become a market maker or get a job trading, does anyone have some advice on how I would accomplish that

ive met with a market maker when visiting a friend on the floor at NYSE. its all managing algorithms and interjecting when necessary if something goes wrong or a special order needs attention . if you have little knowledge of market structure Flash Boys is a cool book that you would probably find very interesting and will get you started on the knowledge of placing orders and market makers etc
