Any LSE Alumni ?

I know the fourm is pretty US-centric but Im just wondering if theres anybody out there, ugrad or postgrad ? I got an offer for Statistics and Finance ugrad and just wondering if anybodys got any insights, stories, info or anything on the Uni first hand ?
Posting here because my degree is pretty S&T and quant oriented, they just started running it due to industry demand with tailored courses.

DirtyCash...they just started running it due to industry demand...

... ... really?

Pahahaha I see the apparent irony in this, on second thoughts. The fact is its the 2nd year running, and I think what they meant was industry demanded certain specific modules that were until now spread over different courses at LSE (some in math degrees some in finance) and now they've cherry picked them into one new tailored degree seeing as you dont have the same degree of freedom of choice as in US universities and the courses of your degree are to a large part preselected.
