Asset Management or S&T for career? (student)

I'm not really sure of the difference between asset management and trading, (unless one is done for client and other is done for the fund itself). I'm not sure what direction to go into as I'm still a student, but I know for sure that I want to be full time trading every day and nothing else. I know I'm not a good fit for IB and other types of interpersonal/relations driven jobs. Should I look more into asset management, S&T, or maybe even HF or prop trading at an IB or prop fund?
