Average Hourly for a S&T Summer Analyst?
Just wondering what the Average Hourly for S&T Summer Analyst usually is. I've been reading and seeing a few places saying around 38-55 covering 90% of the hourly pay. Does seem about right?

They are paying me only $20/hr (plus hopefully overtime hrs) for my sophomore s&t internship at a euro bank. I'd say the lowest pay I've seen for a jr year S&T summer analyst was $35/hr on Handshake for two of the foreign banks.
That's unusually low. It's usually 85k (base) prorated.
Yeah I would have been upset but they were willing to hire me as a sophomore because of that and if I stay the next summer then they will place me into the formal SA program. When you say $85000 prorated, does that include working the full 60 hrs or are you also paid overtime for working past 40 hrs? The hourly rate would be less than $35 if you're working 60 hrs a week and only getting the $85k prorated.
The work week is 40 hours. Some firms dont pay OT at all which means you get paid the same biweekly. On the other hand, some firms pay 1.5x or 0.5x depending on which state they're located in.
Getting 40/hr first week then pro rated 85k rest of the summer. usa
Most big firms pay the same (85k pro rated) but the hourly might change depending on the assumptions used. I was paid $20 something hourly but that is based on a 60 hour work week. In the end it is all the same and the hourly is variable.
what are usually the hours like for an intern?
