BAML interest rate group

I just got a front office quant offer from BAML interest rate group. It is based in New York. Does anyone know about this group? Profitable? Culture? Any comment on the group will be welcome.

They have a strong rates desk, though I don't know a lot about the culture.

Jack: They’re all former investment bankers who were laid off from that economic crisis that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have zero real world skills, but God they work hard. -30 Rock

I really can't I don't work there, I know they are one of the top Rates desks by reputation.

One of the stronger teams on the street. Don't have an idea of size/scale/pnl vs other banks, but you probably can't go wrong there. Depends on your other options, but if its your only option, it is certainly good enough to take. As far as interest rate markets go, in G10 space atleast, trading desks are fairly 'standardized' across banks and there is relatively little difference between them (unlike, say, commodities where there are incumbant players with a significant edge in their favour).
