Barclays S&T vs BofA S&T vs Credit Research
Hi all, finished up recruiting for 2027 and was lucky enough to get offers for BofA and Barclays S&T, as well as a buy-side credit research role at a large asset manager, and wanted to get some input as to what would be the best option. For context, I think I would definitely enjoy S&T more as I love the markets, but I think the credit research role may have a higher salary/potentially better exits. As for what desks I think I could be interested in, I like fixed income particularly high yield/distressed, and securitized products. Thank you in advance!
If you like FI and it's one of the truly large asset managers, I'd go with the credit research offer
is this nb?
go with s&t
Not sure why you're even weighing exits from AM research, that is the exit. You will have enough experience to switch paths if you so choose, but unlikely to be in S&T
