First phone interview lasted about an hour and a half. Walk through your resume (competitive, team player, traded my own account, etc). Some basic questions about the markets. some questions about derivatives. Some questions to gauge how you think and break down a problem (ex. we are thinking about building a new nat gas fueled power plant in oregon what are some of the economics we should look for). I didnt think it was too demanding, but you always hear the horror stories. It is hard to learn about commodities and energy in school so I think they just want to make sure that you arent a retard.

Typically look for quants or athletes/competitive people, high grades, general finance experience...
