BB FICC Trading Analyst Exit Opps

I'm a well-performing trading analyst on the FICC desk of a US BB for 6 months now (fresh out undergrad), and am trying to navigate the job market in case I do want to leave a few months down the line (I plan on staying in my role for at least 1-2 years).

My experience with recruiting in S&T mainly relates to summer analyst/FT recruiting where coffee chats will basically get your foot in the door for 1st rounds, but I'd like to know what the process would be like to lateral to a stronger bank or exit to a fund as a Junior Analyst. Cold apps? Will headhunters reach out, or should I reach out to them?

Really clueless here, so any input appreciated.

headhunters generally don't reach out to junior S&T folks...ever...and generally...exit ops for S&T don't materialize until you are 3-4+ years into your career. What product/role are you in?

just google it...you're welcome
