Best approach to get a trading job / is it too late for me?

Hi all,

Currently, I am a junior studying engineering at a T20 school and have a consulting internship lined up for this summer. Recently, I started to gain some interest in the financial markets and was interested in pursuing a trading job after graduating. Specifically, I am looking for something that relies on quantitative analysis a lot as I believe my quant ability is my strongest skill.

I was wondering what you think the best approach would be to try and get a job in trading full time? Being fully transparent, I have very limited experience in trading and finance - so I would appreciate any advice. Is it too late in my undergrad to try and do this? \

Thanks
