I am currently an intern (BO) at a midsized investment bank. So far through 7 weeks I think sales is the role I wish to pursue. My problem now is figuring out what I want to sell. I know sales can apply to virtually any aspect of a bank or finance.
What are some of the best desks, groups, or aspects of a bank to do sales in right now or in the future?
Also, for any senior salesman, how did you guys go about deciding what prospect you were going to sell or what group you would be in?
