Best S&T desks at Deutsche Bank?
I heard DB is still a very strong player in FICC, and I would like to know which desks are the best. I am an incoming summer analyst at DB S&T, and I would like to put myself in the best position.

FX is stil the heart of the DB FICC operation, if you have a math/quant bent look at the spot eFX Trading team.
eFX P&L is thin. I have a dp from tier one efx desk, global p&l is around $150k ~ $200k daily on average. For a desk with 3 traders, 3 quants at each region and 50 people tech team is not really that much. Most of P&L come from transactional fx and thus bank management think they make money because of the flow platform not you and then you get lowball.

DB is known for being a "deep-dive" credit house so anything distressed debt, loans, structured credit, financing will be top-notch.
