Bloomberg Tradebook

Hello WSO

I have recently acquired a Bloomberg Professional subscription as I couldn't stand being "out of the loop" as an independent trader.

I am in Australia and I am only now learning about TradeBook. Everything I have read from the PDF documents on the terminal depict exactly what I am looking for, DMA access to hundreds of Futures Exchanges.

I cannot find any information on how to create an account, minimum account requirements or even which brokers I need to open accounts with. I understand that perhaps TradeBook is the broker so far as I am concerned, the service interacts with other brokers in order to find the one best suited to my needs - is this correct or do I need to find a broker in Australia who uses TradeBook and organise an account with them?

I would ideally like to try TradeBook before I make a decision on whether I would lead my employees that way, although we are reaching the limits of our current broker in terms of markets and discounts.

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Alex
